I’m on day 12 of carnivore/zero carb and I’m struggling to eat enough. I gained back the water weight I lost in the first few days and I’m feeling extremely frustrated. I’m weighing and tracking my meals and averaging around 1450 calories per day. Everything I’ve read on here says to EAT MORE but I’m struggling to force it down. I wake up starving and lightheaded/shaky (blood sugar is wonky bc of insulin resistance) but it’s so hard to force down zero carb foods, especially in large quantities and early in the day. My body wants more food, but my appetite is not on board. I can’t force down food if I’m about to get sick. And I’ve never been to able to eat a lot in one sitting. I have never been able to do OMAD or extended fasting. Please someone help, this WOE is my last resort bc nothing else is working for me to lose body fat and get my metabolism healed and balanced.
My stats: age 34, female, sedentary (due to severe health issues from SSRI withdrawal), 5’3”, 174 lbs, history of hypothyroidism (ongoing treatment with synthetic hormone) and type 2 diabetes (in remission)
