Stuck on insurance section of document upload
Post Body

I just had a car I want transferred into my local CarMax. Yesterday, I was sent the email with the link to upload the documents needed before I come in for my appointment. I have no issues with anything other than the insurance coverage. My insurance agent texted me this morning, informing me that when they looked up the VIN number, nothing showed up. It's definitely the right number, since I copied/pasted it from my car's listing. I'm assuming that the problem comes from the car being reserved. I was going to do express pick-up, but the CarMax associate I spoke to from my location said that I will now have to come in. From the way she spoke, it sounded like it was a problem with the insurance company, but I don't see how.

If they take the car off of hold, then there could be a possibility of someone else purchasing it. I've been driving a rental since early November and been paying out of pocket for it for several weeks now. I really don't have any other options at this point. Has anyone else dealt with this and found or know of a solution? I'm literally worried sick at this point.
