So I tried buying from carmax , paid 249.99 for shipping , waited for it etc. It was on hold then for me to come see it , test drive , purchase , etc.

It comes on a tuesday , I set up an appointment to see it on thursday yeah? In two days.......only to get called thursday morning being told it was already sold because I didnt show interest (perhaps because I didnt return one of the few random phone calls on wednesday from them) Wow fuck me I guess , I didnt even get to my appointment , they couldnt even wait 48 hours.

And that mind you is after paying 249.99 for shipping , and they sold it to someone else because I didnt "show interest" like you would assume the 249.99 would imply some kind of interest ....they took it from my bank , they had the money. Why wouldnt you wait for the appointment to pass before selling it? If I didnt show up I understand ...... but I was going to.

So I call customer support blah blah blah , they cant help me , they offer nothing essentially. Their idea of help was to show me other cars to buy instead after having ya know......sold the one I was gonna buy from them to someone else. The problem they personally caused.

To top it all off , the customer support person said ohhh Ill contact you back in 48 hours for more details , 7 days later , no call!

I call customer support back again and guess what they want me to do? Yeah just wait a couple days as I reach out and blah blah blah.

Customer support was useless , they wanted me essentially to find another car to buy and just ignore the fact they caused this issue themselves. They wanted to offer 0 help , and essentially just wanted me to shrug it off and buy something else from them.

EDIT: To those commenting yeah , I got the shipping fee back. Which is good. But they still wasted my time.
