Car I am buying was used as a loaner at Carmax
Post Body

I am test driving a 2022 RAV4 Hybrid tomorrow and I noticed that odometer reading on photos shows 43k miles while listing was saying 48k miles. The car autocheck states 1 owner and personal vehicle but last reading with that owner was a year ago at 18k miles. So in addition to the owner putting 25k miles on it over one year, at the very least when the car got to Carmax, someone put 4-5k miles on it.

I asked the manager about it and he replied that it was most likely used as Carmax loaner car. Should I be worried about it? The title is 'personal' so no resale value should be lost, but it is a nit shady they put 5k miles on a car and kinda never mentioned it anywhere.
