Advice for a Psychology post-grad?
Post Body

Hi, I'm a 23 year old woman in England and really need some guidance!

My background: I did a BSc (Hons) in Psychology a couple years ago and completed a MSc in Counselling and a Level 3 Diploma in Counselling last year. I'm currently working as a home carer for a private company (I've been doing this for almost 2 years) and with it got a Care Skills Certificate.

Lately I just feel a bit lost. I've always known what I wanted my next step to be but now I'm stumped. Being a Counselling Psychologist is not the route I want to take now as I can't afford to do a PhD and don't really desire to either.

However, I would really like to work with low-intensity mental health problems or just people's general wellbeing like in my current job. The problem is that I want to move away from a job that has schedules like my current one, where I work 14 hour days and weekends. I can't balance my life and barely see my partner because of it. But with the current qualifications, I'm not sure what sort of jobs are in my field of interest that I can also go into with my current level of education/experience.

Any words of wisdom?
