So I have been receiving a couple of messages on LinkedIn about job opportunities. And to be honest, some of them seemed interesting. However, I've declined any invites for an interview because I am okay with the company I am with now given the pay and all benefits I'm getting. Although to be fair, I've been here for 7.5 years - and a change might be a good prospect.
I do know that switching companies might give me a leverage to increase my market value, exposure to new environment, and opportunities for career growth.. However, there's this part of me that I'm good with where I'm at - so why risk moving into another company that I'm not sure if it will be a right fit for me?
I guess another part of the dilemma is that I'm anticipating a good amount of bonuses in the next coming weeks. So that makes me think about staying a little longer.. And hopefully, opportunities would continue to knock on my door by then and I can revisit if I want to make a move.
What are your thoughts about this?
