I’m moving into HR working at a tech company from customer service in the same company. I was excited about the transition but now I’m rethinking it. Does anyone have any advice? Is HR a bad career choice?

Post Body

My company just bought two companies so we’re going through an acquisition. I was given this opportunity and I was excited to have a new opportunity (did not want to stay in customer service) but I’m obviously overthinking my choice. I guess I just need some words of encouragement.

In my head I guess I’m like should I go for a more technical role and get training in it, like UX design or something. Not even sure what my dream job is I just wanted some new career experiences and learning new skills which is why I took this opportunity.
