Hi, I'm not saying I am over rich, but my father has some money and I would just like to take some advice on profitable careers to do with it. I didn't do well in my corporate jobs over my 20's, so I was thinking what I can do with my money. I heard that maybe people with some money don't think like regular people who are just starting out in this world from scratch, so I want to maximize my mindset to be able to utilize what I have and make it grow. I watched the movie pretty woman where Richard Gere was a corporate raider, maybe something to that effect as he seemed to come from money too in his background. I don't know if that's practical in reality, but what else can I do? Investing in real estate and then renting it out just seems to return too little, and the capital it needs seems really high for the meager amount I'm getting from rental income. I don't know about stock trading but it just seems like gambling to me and I'm not about to throw my money away from trading. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
