Hello everyone! I’m a 23 year old barber that has been in the industry for 5 years now. I’ve worked at multiple shops and also helped start, build, and maintain the shop I work at now. (I do not co-own it) A lot of my daily work is taking my knowledge and skill set and adapting to every single client that sits in my chair. Being able to instantly come up with new solutions for problems, a mild amount of risk taking on hypothetical solutions, and efficient skill development are all skills/traits I’ve developed over the years. But. I’m looking to leave this line of work for something more stable, a bump up or equivalent to in finances, and a future for promotion is what I’m looking for. But, being 23 and only have done barbering so far, I don’t personally really know what’s out there. And this is the part I need some help with. What else is out there that my skill set could be used for?
