Advice Needed: Hiring manager asked me to provide feedback on their Corporate Deck prior to an interview. How to best approach this?
Post Body

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could provide insight and help me understand this little task given to me by a potential employer.

I had a phone interview with the CEO and the hiring manager for a Business Coordinator position. They are an engineering/energy solutions company. The call went well and they look forward to discussing my application further in-person. But before that I was told by the CEO that he will send me their Corporate Deck, containing general info on their company and projects. He said he wanted me to review it and let them know if I have any feedback on the material. But then I realised I do not know what kind of input theyโ€™re expecting from me on this. (I know, I should have clarified and asked when I already had them on the phone!)

The deck looks like your typical set of PowerPoint slides detailing who they are and what they do with images and all that. I just do not know if I should provide comments on grammar or design issues (attention to detail kind of stuff); or if I should comment on their projects and provide some suggestions or ask questions. The latter would be a bit of a challenge as I am no engineer. And the position I am applying for is a coordinator role, so it entails mostly administrative responsibilities.

What would you guys do in this situation?
