Should I stay with my stable job or take a new position that has lots of growth opportunity?
Post Body

In January I started my first "real" full-time job after university at a very good ad agency in my city as a web developer. I am doing well, have a good client list to work with (especially coming in the next few month), lots of potential in the role. However a lot of the time there is no work for me and I am very quiet.

A friend of mine and someone I have worked with several times to great success has offered me a position at his company for a similar role at a lower salary however with a decent ownership share, new laptop, phone etc. In this role I have the potential to grow even more as the company is rapidly expanding and I would have a share in it moving forward.

I'm not sure which role to take, on one hand I have a stable role that has room to grow in and on the other I have a riskier role that has a much bigger chance to grow in. My friend wants the hire me within the the next 3 months so I need to make a decision soon and I don't want to look back and have made the wrong decision.

Any advice?
