We need to start sharing hints, tips, and tricks for getting that first interview. Like so many other people, I keep getting the rejection emails - those standard messages saying that the job posting is looking for someone who more closely aligns with whatever!!
I honestly believe there are many people where who have had success? What helped, what made you successful in landing that job? How did you get pass all the AI, ATS, and Junior Recruiters who hit the "reject button"?
For me:
- I am well-educated - I have degrees in Technology and Business
- I have 25 years of hard-core experience
- The skill I have are transferrable to any industry
- Never had a blemish on any annual performance review
- Able to relocate to anywhere in the world.
- I only apply for jobs that I am qualified for.
And yet, after more than 500 applications, I get nearly the exact same response from every application. How do I get pass that?
