Hello, I am a 24 year old woman in New Orleans, LA. I have a bachelors degree in exercise science (kinesiology) that I got two years ago in hopes of pursuing physical therapy, but when I saw the rate of return on the doctorate, I changed my mind. I'm not opposed to going back to school, but I have no one in my life who is really successful that I can look to for guidance.
I'm currently nannying a cool 1 year old, but I know this gig will be up soon. I also was a high school biology teacher for a few month before I quit. (I make the same money nannying as I did teacher with wayyyy less stress) I really enjoy teaching, but it would have to be in a higher education setting. I also did personal training for a while, but I do not like having to sell myself and build clientele.
I'm not looking to be super rich, I just want to live comfortably.
I've been thinking of going back to school for engineering for a while because I miss using my brain and actually having to be challenged. I just need help, advice, something. With my background though, what do you all think is the best option for me?
