Contract Position Open - Should I try?
Post Body

I am 24 turn 25 in a few months. I currently work in IT at a larger oil and gas company. I am currently working on my bachelors in cyber security while working full time. I have an associates in cyber already and now about 3 1/2 years of experience under my belt.

I found an opening for a position on indeed. I am considering applying for it but then I saw that the position is on contract and doesn’t have a guarantee of renewal.

I have bills to pay like car note, rent, insurance, etc. and the idea of my position being contract feels a bit daunting… it would be a considerable jump in salary, around 14 bucks an hour difference, but like previously mentioned it is contract.

Any advice? What would you do?
