Help, should I take the first offer or wait for my dream job ?
Post Body

For background, I’ve been looking for a higher salary job, I had 2 interviews this week, one on Monday and on today.

The one on Monday went really great and I could tell they wanted me, they pretty much just had to do a background check and today they called me to officially offer me the job.

Today’s interview…I was really nervous, it was an interview with many people from their team and I felt overwhelmed. I did learn some specifics of the program they interviewed me for and it’s ideal for me, it’s just perfect but I can’t say I nailed it cuz I was indeed quite nervios. I can’t say it was bad either cuz we had a good engagement. This is the job I really want.

I have to quit a current job as well so I’m trying to figure out what’s the best for me.

Job No. 1 will be fun and it’s so close to my house which sounds really good to me. I’ve been remote and I want to be on site without a big commute. This job will give me more money than my current.

Job No. 2 will give me money and more satisfaction so this is the one I really want but idk how long they take to let me know if I go to the next step. I know they’re interviewing with many people.

I have to confirm for the first offer by tomorrow and I don’t know if I should wait? But if I don’t and job 2 doesn’t select me then I missed a really good opportunity.

Update. Job2 just invited for an in person interview (step 2). I sent them an email after the interview expressing what I learnt and how much I was interested so idk if the email did the trick or I did well in the interview. I’m so excited now but still I don’t know how to proceed!

Update 2. Interview is for next week but I don’t think job 1 will wait this much for an answer.
