What lateral move could I consider from broadcast/digital producer?

Post Body

Hello there! I've (30yo) been a producer at my radio station for a little over 5 years, where I've become a valued and valuable member of two different teams. I really love my teams and my bosses and the organization in terms of both its mission and its internal culture, but we've been in financial trouble for a while and have had to forgo promotions and raises for about three cycles, at a time when I'm thinking more seriously about the kind of life I want to shape for myself. To be blunt, I'm looking for more money than I can make here, even once promotions/raises (which I've been assured I'm in line for) are restarted. I'm interested to hear what alternative, career paths my skillsets would make me a good candidate for.

In this context, the "producer" job title entails pitching segment ideas, booking guests for a talkshow, writing scripts for the interviews, studio-producing them live, publishing the audio to the web, managing the documents that keep the shows running smoothly, and using audio software to cut a 45 minute broadcast interview down to 20 minutes and publish it as a podcast every day (expanding our local reach to a national audience to the tune of about 25-30% additional listeners). I work on two different daily talkshows, one politics and one arts-and-culture, which means tons of multitasking and daily deadlines. I've also recently been tapped to direct the shows when our normal director needs backfill, and have been involved in a number of piloting efforts, including for that daily podcast. And more recently, I've been tapped to get behind a microphone as a pledge drive fundraiser a few times a year.

In addition, I've carved out a "lane" for myself using my coding/computer skills that I've developed as a hobby to give certain special work projects a presence on the web tailored to our needs, and to streamline the production workflows. These include forward facing tools like interactive playlist applets (HTML/CSS/JS) and interactive maps (R) , internal tools like a fully automated, easy to maneuver guest database and scheduler in Google Sheets, and other creative problem solving on the backend (Python) that made certain heavy-lift projects easy, that otherwise would not be possible without additional staff. This work has been done to varying degrees using Amazon Web Services, including S3 (storage) and , with which I now have a working familiarity.

So I know I'm creating a lot of value for my organization, but unless they can pay me for it, my mind is open to anything. Right now I'm making about $80k per year, and ideally aiming for something that will get me up to 100k. Am I wrong to feel like I'm getting paid under market for the coding skills I bring to the table? Just trying to brainstorm what kind of career move to make that'll be in line with my experience, but not necessarily in the same line of work. Remote-type roles a plus! Any and all ideas welcome, and thanks!
