What type of job is financially stable but also won't make me miserable?

Post Body

I have a BA in English and currently work as a preschool teacher. I hate it. It doesn't pay enough, I live paycheck to paycheck and I'm constantly stressed about money, and it doesn't fit my personality at all. I'm a very introverted person and having to put on a perky outgoing persona 8 hrs a day is exhausting. I've applied for hundred of English/Writing related jobs since I graduated in 2021, but most require 3-5 years of experience that I don't have. I worked as a barista for 7 years, and all my other jobs are CSR and retail type jobs. This teaching job is my first "grownup" job. I'm also in my mid-30s. Went back to college late.

I want a job that will at the least hold some interest for me. I love writing, books, theatre, music, creative artsy type things. I prefer to work on my own or in a small group, and not have to interact with a ton of strangers. I've been debating getting my Masters, but I don't even know what in. I graduated in the top 15% of my class and got great reviews from my professors on my writing skills.

What jobs should I be looking for? I want something with decent pay (currently make 25K/yr), possibly could work remotely, good work/life balance, in a creative field or possibly working with animals or for an LGBTQ organization, and potential room for growth (this one is low priority though) I don't want to go back to school, but I'm so tired of struggling, and I see no other way to get ahead. Please help.
