Hello everyone! I have just over a month left of my Administrative Fellowship and my preceptor and EVP have yet to discuss post-fellowship opportunities for myself or my co-fellow even though we have brought it up several times over the past month. A few months ago the President of the company along with a few other VPs entertained the idea of me becoming an Orthopedic Service Line Director near the end of my fellowship. I took it with a grain of salt as I felt it was just a bunch of bs and now the worst is approaching. My company has zero full time salary positions available, and what is available is hourly and would cost me a 15-20k pay cut. I have also been applying to other companies in my area, but I continue to be ghosted or told I do not have enough experience even though my Fellowship has set me up to be either a Manager or Service Line Director along with 4 years of management/project management experience.
Any advice on how to approach this?
Thanks!
