Lack of direction

20M I’m going to start off by saying I am very greatful for my current situation and don’t want to come off as a complainer. But I find my self wanting more and to continue making more money.

I work for a small company luxury retail doing sales. I love my job and know that I am very good at it. Along with the liberties uniqueness and experiences that come with it. I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity to be apart of said job and respect the people I work with. But I do not like the culture and highest forms of management all that much and feel like there is not a big chance for upward mobility or learning more such as marketing other than a management role which I really do not want. Being that job A is my main source of income and could be considered high ticket closing and appointment setting on a resume I feel like it is integral for me to be there for at least a year to have it on my resume.

I recently started a second job doing B2B outbound and minimal inbound phone sales while I’m away from school for the summer. for a small company that sells products to headshops, wholesalers, distributors and dispensaries. So far I have made almost nothing and invested all of my time off from job A into this for the last 4 weeks. I feel like this is not worth my time. But at the same time is it the experience that I think I might need so I can eventually parlay this into a BDR or SDR role for a tech or pharma or gaming industry and possibly finance much later down the road.

My end goal is to learn and be proficient in sales marketing and some form of finance and eventually run and operate my own business or operation.

People who have already done it or have any insight please I would appreciate it very much.
