Hi guys, anyone completely switch career in theirs 30s? I am in my 30s and feeling lost and directionless and need some advices please.
I am 32, single, holding Commerce degree( major in accountant and finance) but have been working in hospitality for more than a decade, including running my own business last 5 years, I had been fed up with my jobs in the last 3 years, recently sold my business and have been working as a manager for a restaurant while I am trying to get into accountant field, but no luck so far, seems like they want younger people for an entry level job or people with certain level of experience. I read some old topics about how people changer their career in their 30s and 40s, all inspirational and encouraging.
I am recently thinking about taking bootcamp class provided by Monash Uni to get into Cyber Security or Data Analysis. Both of those are interesting to me and I would consider to pursue for my future career.
Anyone went on the same path or doing the same process? Is it hard to crack in for an entry level job for either of those 2 jobs and what's your opinion about those 2 Jobs if you are doing one of those for you living.
Thanks in advance guys.
