Advice for Autistic friendly jobs
Post Body

I have about 10 years of work experience. Was a preschool teacher, was a director of education, and Ive worked in a group home doing direct care for disabled adults.

A lot of my job duties/skills involves project management, developing programs, training employees, maintaining records/data, managing an office, creating schedules....

However I really suck at this. I'm unmotivated, I don't work well independently, I don't do well creating work for myself or without clear direction. I'm disorganized. I can't stay on task. I can't meet deadlines.

I have a Bachelors degree and ALL my previous job experience is doing this type of work.

But I NEED a job that is routine. That has clear goals, that is monotonous maybe, slow paced, clear expectations, supervised.

I have autism and ADHD and I just dont excel at these jobs Ive had before, but I dont know what else I can do and keep within my salary range $40k. The autistic fatigue is real trying to work in these environments that are just not made for me.
