Income during time of transition?

I’m currently 43 yr old and a pharmacist. Long story short this is not the field for me and I need to get out ASAP. I’m planing on transitioning to a creative field in design and fabrication but this is going to take some time. In the meantime I need income.

My question is I’d really like to work remote during the transition so how do I find something remote that may itself be a field change?

In other words I’m a pharmacist but looking for a temp position 6 -12 months, remote, and I have programming skills. How would I apply for something like that when my resume shows nothing but pharmacy ?
