Think it might be time for a career change looking for advice
Post Body

I am 33, the last 8 years has been spent in the same industry behind a desk. Which is not where I wanted to be, but due to circumstances in life where I ultimately ended up. I design systems for installation, but originally wanted to get into a whole different section of the industry. Now looking at it and after recently being made an offer in the same industry, I am not sure I even want to continue doing this. I have hit the point of burnout multiple times and each time seems like it takes a lot less to get there. I no longer enjoy what I do, there was a point I did but beginning to realize to get back to that point would mean more time away from my family and at this point I am trying to maximize time with family not take away from it. Not sure what kind of career change I would like to make at this point but has anyone had success with a change? Or any advice if you have been in a similar situation?
