Hi all. I'll just try to be as brief as possible.
I live in Nigeria, and I've worked for one of the country's largest banks. I am a Chartered Banker,. a Certified Compliance Professional, and currently serve as a Senior Associate in one of the Big 4 firms.
I am currently studying towards the ACCA full qualification but recently I have been on the lookout for job opportunities in the UK. such opportunities would be required to sponsor a work visa for me.
I had interview last year with one of the Big 4 firms but was told I needed to gain more experience in SOX compliance testing.
I would genuinely not mind being referred to good opportunities that do not currently require full ACCA qualification in order to qualify for work sponsorship. Most audit senior roles I see require full qualification.
A little more about me: Male, Single, 28. Experience in internal control, risk assessment, technical reporting, compliance, financial statements audit, SOX compliance testing, IFRS and US GAAP knowledge, leading and supervising teams. Experience with the audit of small and large firms, including one of the largest international oil companies in the country.
Please I would appreciate as many comments as possible.
