Do I give advice to someone who got the job over me?
Post Body

So I applied for a higher position job with another department and didn't get it- the guy who got it just scheduled a meeting with me to figure out how to setup his new program.

I’ve worked with him before at another company and don’t know how he got the job over me, I’ve been told there might be some racism going on here by other friends and colleagues but I don’t blame him for that. (He is an old (50 ?) white guy, I’m a 40yo Indian dude.)

What do I tell this guy in the meeting? What if he takes my ideas and looks like he’s a genius, and I get screwed?
