Curious what the viable path to this career would be?
My experience the past few years has been in client services and management in the healthcare field (everything from customer relations, implementation, account management, project management). I code as a hobby and have created a number of web apps for fun. I’m currently taking a project management certification course at the moment through Google.
I don’t feel qualified yet to be working as a full-fledged project or product manager at the moment. A lot of the opportunities I’m seeing right now that are directly applicable to my experience are in customer success management or implementation. I’m curious if there’s a path for me, should I end up taking one of these jobs, to product management.
I enjoy working across departments and skill sets and I like being creative and inspiring others. Given my experience, what is a viable path forward to product management?
