How do I ask for a raise after being at my company for 1.5 years?
Post Body

I’ve been at my current company since August 2019. I work in customer care at a growing tech company and we’re hiring like crazy so they have the budget for it.

I had a discussion with my manager on my one year anniversary August 2020, and I outlined a detailed explanation of my accomplishments and extra things I did in my role as our company had our largest growth we’ve seen. We were extremely understaffed and I did the work of about 5-6 people.

He told me I wasn’t going to get one until March because that’s when my company does merit increases. March 2020 I did not qualify because I wasn’t in my role for a year yet. (Annoying)

Anyway I am going on 2 years this upcoming August. I haven’t gotten one raise. I make $20.68/ hr or roughly $41,360 a year.

Our conversations are going to be held this month. How do I go about asking for the raise I deserve? I want to be making 50k.

EDIT: thought I was making more than I was... sad.
