I am currently up for a Co-op position that would take place from July- early January. I am currently scheduled to graduate in December and this would push back that graduation date. I am a biomedical engineering student and am up for supply chain position at one of the biggest pharm companies there is. I think I really would enjoy working and growing at the company, but am not to sure about the supply chain side of things. I don't think I'll hate it but enjoy the more engineering type work. When I asked, they did talk about movement around the company and programs to help further my education. I do eventually want to go back and get an MBA or Masters and this company would help pay for it. It seems that around 50% of co-ops can move to permanent positions with an additional 30% moving to contract positions.
Do you guys think that this is a position that would help move my career forward or just delay it.
