I live somewhere in Asia and I have a bachelor degree with 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant and Contract Administrator. Now, I have the urge to work remotely (due to various reasons), but remote job opportunities in my country, especially in my field, are very rare to find. Then I started looking up jobs on Indeed, changing the location to the US. I applied to around 80 positions, but I haven't received any interview invitations. My questions are:

1. Is it possible for a US company to hire someone overseas? I am aware of visa and tax requirements, but I have read that some US companies are willing to use PEO services, which can help overseas employees with visa and tax concerns.

2. If it's not possible for US legal field to hire someone overseas, what other fields may welcome my background?
