I lost my job two months ago. I was blindsided by it. I had taken out a car loan right before.
My last check went for rent. I'm a month behind there. I'm two months behind on the car payment (paid the first month and then lost the job) and a month behind on everything else (insurance, electric, water, internet, phone).
My wife and I have two little ones. She's been accepted into a paid CNA training program (which is great since she's wanted to get into the medical field) which was supposed to start at the beginning of the month, but they pushed it back to May. She's gonna need scrubs and non-slip shoes. In the meantime, many interviews which has drained the gas tank.
I was able to get TANF for April, but it doesn't get you very far.
I'm fairly certain I can get rent help through St Vincent de Paul. So, I just need help covering the rest.
I know it's a big ask. Please and, for anybody who even considers it, thank you.
Edit: Forgot to add location. I'm based out of Oregon, USA.
