It's /u/tdb2 here tonight with your weekly update.

This week we have password reset functionality implemented, added pricing and efficiency information to each package on the send screen, implemented locking users for trade, implemented trade ledger, planned out our trading workflow and how dispute resolution will plug into it, made various other fixes and improvements. The next several weeks will be focused on trade execution. We are treading the area carefully, with a healthy dose of planing and unit testing.

To make this dry update a bit spicier, I'll give you some interesting tidbits from our future:

• We're still aiming for community dispute resolution system where the ruling will be made by other participants.
• You will be able to dispute select cards out of a package or the whole package.
• Full (not received) or partial refunds (lower condition, but willing to accept it) will be supported as part of dispute resolution (Note: I'm talking about insurance here).
• We're going to lock your receiving trade partner for trade to give you time to figure out the contents of your package. But unlike Puca, you won't be able to lock half of the users out of trading with some basic javascript :-)
• You will be able to choose preferred sort order for packages: by value, by efficiency, by number of cards.
• You will be able to choose a packaging strategy for your packages: maximize value, maximize number of cards, maximize efficiency, minimize quality (prefer send lower quality cards first); This will determine which cards will make it into the package with that user in situations when credit is limited, but matches are plenty. Neat,eh?
