Headliner Damage
Post Body

Hey everyone.

I had some dirt on my headliner leftover from a dealer visit and I cleaned it using upholstery cleaner. The bristle seem to have damaged the fabric, more fuzzy than pilling. I tried shaving it, but haven't had any luck. I don't want to shave harder.

The spots now look 'lighter' than the rest of the headliner. If brushed a certain way they don't, and in some light they are invisible.

I,ve attched pictures from before and after the last round of brush over shave.

This is a newer car and I'm pretty frustrated. It's not bad enough to replace.

Any thoughts here? Should I keep shaving or call it a day?
