Sleeping in a jeep grand Cherokee
Post Body

Okay, so I have the mattress, cooling system and gyms picked out to wash/poop, but I’m a little concerned on where it’s safe to park and sleep. I checked the FAQ section and I didn’t find anything helpful from this sub, sooo…

I am taking a week long trip with my dog to the east coast. Starting in Wilmington and heading up the coast with the pooch. My question is: where can I park and sleep without getting hassled? In my mind, the only thing I can think of is rest stops, trucker filling stations (flying j, pilot, etc…) and possibly Walmart parking lots from what I’ve gathered. Besides these locations, I was thinking campgrounds, but I was hoping to avoid this to not add anymore expense to my trip. I’m sorry if this is a commonly asked question! I just don’t want to be bothered while I sleep and keep me and the doggo safe.
