I've been wanting to get a new vehicle for a while and I know getting a pre-approved loan would be good for me financially. My friend just bought a car and got bent over the table with the intrest and payments, so I'm definitely not going to do what he did. I already bank with navy fed and I know they're supposed to be the best for getting a car loan from. The only part I'm confused about is how do I approach buying the car with the pre-approved check? Do I negotiate the price to what I'm approved to then pull out the check, or do I present the check up front and tell them I'm already approved?
