Hey,posting to see if there are anything ideas,I’ve been struggling with my 1989 Mazda b2200 with a Weber 32/36 electric choke. To put it plainly for almost 2 years now it’s been having an ongoing problem with cold weather, if it’s below 50 degrees or the engine is basically cold it will not start,in warm weather or when the engine is warm it runs great, everything with in reason have been replaced, it’s a solid truck I’ve gotten narrowed down the the carburetor, I’ve slowly taken what I could apart like the jets, set choke and the plunger type thing that initially opens the choke flaps to 7mm as it should, tune and tune and on warms days it runs like a top, but when winter hits I’m pissed and confused.I think it’s my fast idle cam that’s messed up but I’m not really sure.I don’t know enough to really rebuild it so I’m on the verge of buy a brand new Weber if I can’t figure it out within reason.
