Got into an accident (my fault) what will happen?

I drove my mom's car and accidentally hit someone's bumper when turning right. My mom's insurance is CLCA insurance (California low income one way insurance) and I'm not sure if they will cover me because I'm not listed on it. And the damages came out to 5k and I don't have any assets to pay them back. What will happen? Will the insurance company think it's worth it to chase after me? And what can I do? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ They sent me this letter:
