Lyft car accident with minor

Sooo I got into a car accident with Lyft and my daughter (4) was in the car. The driver hit a pole then ran over a pedestrian. Traumatic yeah but since Iām active duty and Iām fully cover by tricked does that mean my case would be handled differently? I was in an accident before I joined and I knew the settlement was for bills but now Iām Confused on how the process would go
