Trading my 2015 Honda civic for a Infiniti q50 that has no title, I have my 2015 Honda civic clean title but the Infiniti q50 seller claims he lost the title. Should I do it ?

Pretty much I been trying to trade my car for another car and this seller claims he lost his clean title. How would I register this car in my name once I trade it if I don’t have a previous title to transfer over from?
