Why do male caps put in so much effort in pretending they don't care?

The keyword is effort. You think you might not care but you plan when you're going to respond and when you're not going to. You make the effort to make it seem that someone doesn't matter to you, or that you're busy, but will also try your hardest to seem like you're not intentionally being avoidant. It's literal madness. I love you male Capricorns, but your double standards are a lot to handle. What might it take to overcome this? What's preventing transparency? You care enough to pretend but won't make the effort to confront uncomfortable situations.
