Do I need to show $30k income for backdated Business GST
Post Body

So I opened a business in 2019 and from 2020 - 2023 I've done above the $30k threshold.

I was dumb and wasn't submitting GST to the CRA and nor was I collecting GST from my clients because everything was cash. I called in and got my GST account opened so that it was back dated to when I first crossed the 30k threshold.

Question: Now that I have the GST account for the duration of my business, do I have to submit taxes of at least 1 year to be above $30k, or can I still report the amount I filed on my yearly tax returns?

Is the CRA expecting me to submit numbers of $30k for at least 1 of the past 3 years?
