R5C Power Supply Questions

Hi All
I have EF 50mm F1.2 attached to my R5C with Canon Drop-In Filter Adapter.
System (via Power Source Naviation option in the menu) shows that with just battery pack, I can record 6k Raw (Super 35) 1-30 FPS. But when I set it up, it still tells me Lens won't work. I have to go to Super 16 in order to work with just battery packs. Anything beyond that stills needs PD power.
Did I set things up wrong? Is it the drop in filter? Maybe it won't have this issue with regular filter?
