Viltrox EF-EOS M2 problem with my M50

Hi,

I got my Viltrox EF-EOS M2 speed booster today, and immediately set about attaching my recently purchased Samyang VDSLR 35mm EF mount cine lens to it.

Problem is the aperture setting shows "F00" and when I hit record, nothing happens.

I've updated the firmware of the speed booster to the latest v1.4 - no dice.

I've also tried another EF mount lens I bought - the Sigma 24-105mm F4 art lens. This one works fine with the speed booster.

Thoughts? Is this a faulty speed booster? Am I not supposed to be able to connect a cine lens with declicked aperture and T-stops through the speed booster to the M50? I'm so confused!
