How long after the release of the 7D Mk II will the 7D no longer be available?

I've had my Canon T3 for several years now. I really enjoy shooting, and was planning to buy the 7D Mk II (this was before it was even announced). However, the more I think about it, I'm sure that a 7D can handle 90% of what the Mk II can do (I'm mainly interested in shooting airshows, and the small buffer on my T3 gives me trouble) at half the cost (I can afford both, but am more than pleased with saving money). I'm sure Canon won't sell the 7D forever. If I want to buy it new, do I need to order it before the Mk II is released, or can I expect it will still be available for months/years after November?
