recording soccer games iPhone 14 pro max or rebel t6i w/ kit lens

Hello so I want to record my soccer games and I need help deciding do I use the rebel t6i or iPhone the rebel has a apsc lens which is great compared to the iPhone small lens and zooming in is far superior but iPhone are renowned for their video capabilities or do I use my iPhone to record and the camera to take pictures of me I have a tripod so stabilization is not a issue also storage isn’t a issue either and I can circumvent the recording limit because I have someone recording me so they can just record again
