I currently shoot with a T7i, and I enjoy it, but I'm thinking of upgrading after 3 years with the body. I will be making some extra money this fall, and am considering using it to upgrade my camera body. The 6D Mk 2 and the 90d are the same price, and it's around what I want to spend. I already have EF lenses, and I am a fan of optical viewfinders, so I would like to stick to DSLRs and native compatibility with the EF lenses. The 90D seems like it has more features, is a slightly newer design, and has a higher resolution. On the downside, it's APS-C, though that is what I am currently used to. The 6D Mk 2 is full frame, and is still a significant upgrade from my T7i. Things I like about both are the weather seal, the increase in image quality (or is this really just a perceived difference?), and the additional control and settings they provide over the T7i.
I am hoping to hear some experienced opinions on this, to help me make a more informed decision. Thank you.
