I'm headed down the river with my boys in a couple weeks.
A few weeks ago we went car camping with the wife, she bought this monstrosity Coleman 6-person with "darkroom technology". I was skeptical at first but was thoroughly impressed by the end of the weekend.
My kids (4 and 6) usually sleep about 11 hrs and they become monsters when it's cut short. We were able to put them down in the dark room while the sun was still up and they slept later than they normally do.
So my question is, I'm not sure I want to get the 4 person Coleman for my canoe trip, although our 6 person was great, and really dry over 3 nights of steady rain.
Is there a backpacking/canoeing friendly version I should be looking for?
