Thc dosage calculation help with using using flower

Hey guys I use my flower to make edibles but I have no idea on how to properly dose and I usually make them way too strong. (I use a couple ounces at a time or like a QP of shake/trim per batch)

Can someone tell me what’s the proper way to create dosage and figure out MG per whatever you make? (canna butter, corn syrup, etc)

I guess it’s harder for me because I use my own flower so I would have to get the THC percentage on all of it first (which I do have lab tests) But even with that what do you base it off of when using shake/trim?
