I think I have CHS
Post Body

I had read about CHS a few years ago and wasn't sure if it was even real or not at first, because there were only a couple articles I had found and they seemed to be heavily influenced by propaganda of abstinence only for all drugs and a lot of guilt/shame stuff that seemed like religious drama. I quit for several months and addressed this with my doctor who told me the weed wouldn't be causing my stomach issues. So I slowly started back up again and I was able to use it in small doses. Then I actually was able to smoke frequently again with no real issue. Now I got a medical card and started smoking pretty heavily again because the effects of some of the stuff I was getting seemed to wear off too quickly. The symptoms started to come back again the past few months. Has anyone else experienced this? It's so weird and seems out of nowhere. For some reason everything was great for nearly a year or more after quitting. Could certain medications or infections cause this to flare up again or something? I started taking magnesium supplements and the doctors still haven't suggested weed to be the culprit despite being told I smoke every time I'm seen. I'm having bowel issues where things aren't blocked, but aren't emptying right either. I have my appetite back, but I'm scared to eat too much and I keep getting cravings at night. Idk whether to eat or not, because my stomach seems to be messed up no matter what I do now. The symptoms this time around are slightly different as well. Not as severe with sweating and being cold, but heart palpitations and blood pressure spikes have been worse. I thought I was going to have a heart attack the one day and finally went back to the ER, but it seems to be tied to every time my stomach pain flares up and not to anxiety or anything else really.
