Hey Canik Community,

I have a question about the Mete series and the mounting plates. I was at my local store yesterday and they had a Mete that I was able to old for the first time. Really liked it, and I really liked that the plate was in front of the rear sight. I have an Elite Combat (that I am obsessed with) so I already know about the struggles of mounting plates if you want to put on something like a Holosun. I asked the guy there what plates the Mete comes with and he grabbed the box. I saw it included 2, almost identical, plastic mounting plates.

Has anyone had issues with this before? Is the plastic option good enough here? Also, do those two plates cover enough foot print options? I am interested in either a Mete or a Rival soon, but after the struggle of finding a #2 mounting plate for my Elite Combat I am doing more research first.
