I read a bunch of reviews here before the purchase. I have owned caniks in the past and love each of them. I've put all kinds of different ammo through them, cheap, steel, all of it and never once had a misfire.
I got the MC9 and took it to the range yesterday. I put 500 rounds through it on day one.
I would say the first 300 rounds I had some type of misfire at least once in every magazine. Stove piping and not returning to battery. But the last 200 rounds, zero issues.
Besides the issues, the gun fires phenomenally and was easy to stay on target. Not taking into account the misfires, it shot much better than my P365.
I THINK, this gun has some serious break in needed. Like I said, first 300 rounds lots of issues every 10 rounds or so, last 200, zero issues.
I'm gonna take it to the range again this weekend and put another 500 through it so I can see if I'm right and it is a break in issue.
Edit: used 115 grain rounds
